I have my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State.  I’ve been a CrossFit trainer since January of 09.   While attending MS State, I had private clients that I trained.  I also worked with the Strength and Conditioning Program training the MSU baseball team. I was introduced to CrossFit about 4years ago.  This is when I really fell in love with fitness as a way of life.  CrossFit is the safest, most efficient way to reach fitness levels that you never thought possible.  I welcome any age and any level of athletic ability with the confidence that you will reach your desired fitness levels.

  About Nate: (from http://nateschrader.com )

I am a Christian and I exist to give glory to God.  I am married to my amazing wife Emily.  I currently work as the head trainer at Redpoint Crossfit.  This is pretty much what takes up most of my time, besides participating in most any physical activity that comes my way.
Physical training background:
I played sports my whole life growing up starting with soccer and baseball, and then football, wrestling and a little bit of track through high school.  Starting in 9th grade, lifting weights was part of every sport I participated in, and I have lifted in some form or fashion ever since (I’m now 26).  I joined the army in 2005 and did plenty of physical training while I was in until Aug 2010.  A couple guys in my company introduced me to crossfit in late 2008 and I did a few workouts then, but really didn’t start doing it on a regular basis until Feb. 2009. I returned from a deployment in Feb. 2010 and was convinced by my wife Emily to give the 2010 Carolina Sectionals a go; I placed 3rd and I began training for the Dirty South Regionals 2 months later.   I placed 5th at regionals missing the games by one place, inspiring me to make it in 2011.  I began working as a trainer at my gym Redpoint Crossfit and soon became head trainer after receiving my crossfit level 1 cert and my cf olympic lifting cert.  I began programming for our gym the beginning of 2011.  I’ve always done my own programming, however I followed OPT’s blog from Dec 2010 – April 2011; I learned a lot from my months on the blog and was inspired to continue my learning in the physical training world.  I programmed for myself through the Mid-Atlantic Regionals where I placed 2nd, and the Games where I took 14th, inspiring me to make the podium in 2012…
